Fishing Derby Rules

Contest begins the 3rd Saturday in May and ends September 30
Participant must register upon arrival
Prizes are non-transferable except if a child/minor wins that parent/guardian will redeem the prize
Only 1 prize per guest
Prize is only good for up to a 7 night/6 day package
Prize is only good for fishing packages
Winner may redeem by making a reservation and will be based upon availability
May be used in conjunction with other discounts
The longest length and heaviest weight combined will determine the winning fish in each species
The winning catch of each species may be caught and released or caught and kept (although catch and release is strongly encouraged)
All participants who plan on catch and release must have a fish scale, tape measure, camera and a witness with them in the boat
If an entered fish is released there must be a witness and a photo must be included along with weight and length measurements
If an entered fish is kept a photo must accompany the fish along with its weight and measurements (documented by a Wildewood staff member)
If a tie occurs each winner will receive 50% off a fishing package up to 7 night/6 day package
The winning prize must be redeemed within 2 years of event
